Statement of faith

The Vine Kids is built on the core beliefs that Protestant and nondenominational churches share. Here they are in plain words.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word, true and trustworthy, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. (2 Timothy 3:16)

God

We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the grave on the third day. He will one day return. (1 Corinthians 15:3 and 4)

Salvation

We believe salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Everyone who believes in Him has eternal life. (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8 and 9)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, guiding us and growing His fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. (Galatians 5:22 and 23)

Children

We believe children matter deeply to God and can know and follow Jesus. (Mark 10:14) That’s why The Vine Kids exists: to help kids stay rooted in God’s Word and grow in faith every day. (John 15:5)
